Dell Technologies is looking for a Software Engineer 2 to join our Software Engineering team in Bangalore. This role involves working on enterprise software solutions using the latest technologies and collaborating with experts in the field.
About the Role
As a Software Engineer 2, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-quality software solutions. You will work on system architecture, develop technical specifications, and ensure the software meets business requirements. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Core Teams, and the Architecture Review Board.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance Java-based enterprise applications
- Design scalable and high-performance software solutions
- Work on system architecture, behavioral specifications, and Proof of Concepts (PoC)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth development and deployment
- Implement microservices integration, containerization, and orchestration
- Develop technical specifications, prototypes, and performance evaluations
- Optimize multithreading, concurrency (Executor Framework, Callable, Runnable, etc.)
- Use Git, Artifactory, and CI/CD tools for smooth deployment
Required Skills and Experience
- 5-8 years of experience in Java-based enterprise software development
- Strong knowledge of Core Java, Spring, Vert.x, Hibernate, JDBC, JUnit
- Experience with multithreading, concurrency, and distributed systems
- Proficiency in Microservices architecture and API integrations
- Hands-on experience in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
- Experience with messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.)
- Knowledge of Golang and Python3 is a plus
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with Git, Artifactory, and CI/CD automation
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
